Travel to St. Louis

St. Louis is located on the eastern border of the state of Missouri, in the center of the United States.

It lies on the bank of the Mississippi River, just south of the confluence of the Missouri River.

The city is served by St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL). You may travel from the airport to Saint Louis University (a driving distance of about 16 miles) in several ways.

The light rail system MetroLink will take you on the Red Line from Lambert (the airport) to Grand (the nearest station to SLU) in about 26 minutes, with no transfers needed, for $2.50. After disembarking, if you are staying in on-campus housing, climb the stairs to Grand Boulevard, and walk north on Grand for four blocks. Turn right on Laclede Avenue, and enter the Marchetti Towers residence hall.

Other forms of transportation from the airport to SLU include taxi, Lyft, or Uber.

Some taxi companies (the typical fare is $40.00-45.00, and it is customary to add a 15% tip):
